Season’s greetings, JMACers!

The holiday season is finally upon us, and with it comes seasonal festivities! If you’re in the Chicagoland area this holiday season, we’d like to invite you to a few outings during the winter intercession.

Wednesday, December 9th is JMAC’s outing to Christkindlmarket in Daley Plaza! Christkindlmarket is an open-air German market with plentiful gift vendors and delicious food stalls! Meet up with Nicole and Joe at 12pm in front of the Barnes & Noble on DePaul’s Loop campus, for they’ll be leading the group to Christkindlmarket at 12:30pm.

If you’re unable to meet up with the loop group by 12:30, make your way over to Daley Plaza, drop on by and say hi! JMAC members will be at Christkindlmarket until 4:30pm. Receive notifications and communicate with us via the event page for the JMAC 2015-2016 Facebook group.

Another outing this season is Mochitsuki at the Midwest Buddhist Temple on Saturday, December 12th from 8:30am-1pm. This is a joyous social event centered around pounding rice cakes as a post-harvest celebration. Though this is an unofficial JMAC outing, we encourage everyone to check out the event page and learn more about mochitsuki!
