Next Week’s Meeting: JMAC Spring Quarter Week 4
Join us next week on Monday, April 18th from 4-9pm (and for the remainder of the quarter!) in room 324 of the Lincoln Park Student Center. Next week we’ll begin social hour at 4pm with an informative panel about the Touhou Project.
After the 5pm PowerPoint, our weekly showing will be Kino’s Journey, an anime that employs a time-travel motif to describe the road to self-discovery. Accompanied by his talking motorcycle named Hermes, Kino travels the world to learn as much as he can about new places before exploring new lands.
And as always, at approx. 7:30pm, join us for a screening of for our quarter-long running series Gatchaman Crowds~
Last Week’s PowerPoint: SQ Week 3 (aka JMAC week 22)
Attached are the slides to last week’s PowerPoint. It’s themed with Japanese folktales and timely spring cherry blossoms! During last week’s PowerPoint, the the JMAC Board announced new PR’s for 2016-2017 via a nifty announcement video made by Mark! (so be sure to check it out) :D
The slides from last week also feature a fantasy/thriller manga for the month of April, and a music video from a band that has done opening/ending songs to Psycho-Pass and Guilty Crown.
Here’s to a scenic spring, JMAC!
