A Few Reminders

The 4th Annual Cosplay Showcase (the former “Halloween Masquerade” and “Halloween Cosplay Showcase + Dancing”) will take place at the end of this month! Join us to celebrate all things cosplay and the spirit of Halloween. The Cosplay showcase is on Saturday, October 29th from 12-2pm.

Check out the powerpoint for all the info for entering the contest. All DePaul students/alums are welcome to enter! The deadline to enter the cosplay showcase is Monday, October 22nd.

Next Week’s Meeting: Fall Quarter Week 5

The next JMAC meeting will take place on Monday, October 10th from 4-9pm in room 314B of the Lincoln Park Student Center.

Next week’s social hour will be handheld gaming! Don’t forget to bring your 3DS, PSVitas… I’ll probably be playing Love Live! on my phone. :P

Join us for our weekly showing of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Though typical high schooler Kyon has given up his belief in the supernatural, he inspires his whimsical classmate, Haruhi, to create her own club. As a result, Haruhi forms the SOS Brigade to specialize in all things supernatural.

Afterwards, we’ll continue watching our running series From the New World.
