JMAC SQ Week 2: Board/Card Games and Choujin Sentai Jetman

Hello JMACers,

It’s currently 7pm on Friday, so congrats, we’ve officially made it to the weekend! :D

A Few Reminders :3

Thinking about attending Anime Central, the 3rd largest anime convention in the US? If you’re planning to attend ACen but still haven’t purchased a badge yet, just a reminder that the badge prices increase from $58 to $70 on April 1st!

April Fool’s day is almost upon us, and if you’re into playing Japanese mobage, special one-day-only April Fool’s Day events are currently available~
> this has been a promo from JMAC VP Eric to download & play the hit Japanese mobile game “Fate/Grand Order”

Next Week’s Meeting: Spring Quarter Week 2

Join us for a JMAC meeting this Monday, April 3rd from 4-9pm in room 380 (located nearby the Center for Students with Disabilities) in the Lincoln Park Student Center. We’ll start off the meeting with a social hour of board and card games!

The weekly showing for next week will be Choujin Sentai Jetman. This tokuatsu live-action is the fifteen installment of the Super Sentai series. In the year 199X, scientists in the Sky Force defense agency developed “Birdonic Waves,” a new technology that gives superhuman abilities to five of the agency’s top elites.

And finally, stop on by and catch a few episodes of our new running series for the spring quarter, Nichijou.

Last Week’s PowerPoint (Week 1)

Here it is, the first powerpoint of the quarter! Click here to check it out via dropbox~ It’s themed with “old and new” (or what I’d like to call “‘Before and After,” as per Wheel of Fortune category).

Included in the slides are announcements for the JMAC executive board members for 2017-18 school year! Also check out the comedic/romantic/school life manga of the month and a video of the winners of a Japanese cosplay/dance competition!

Stay sharp, JMACers!
